Pheww!

Quick update.

The feedback is incorrect in it's substance. The ride in the 90's took 3 days, in a group, on trail bikes and with full Kimm sacks. That is quite and achievement, though, especially considering one guy had to be carted off to hospital on day 2 which curtailed that day's riding.

I'm trying to get a hold of the copy of the route that they took, in case there are any little gems in there for me to peruse.

You were worried that a amgazine had ridden across Wales unsupported, journalistic licence oh yes.

Rich H says he knows you, so you've no doubt heard we did the C2C, as have countless people before. we are proud of how much off road we did and that we stuck true to that aim.

Heres my tale of it;

maybe some of the bits will be usefull, but as your going for speed maybe not;-)

That's one hell of a tough task doing it in a day, the route will have to spot on first time if you intend leaving any legacy for others to aspire to, which i guess is Robs goal.
